Course Details

The flagship course of Homoeopathy at Wellie Level, the in-person course is designed to empower farmers, smallholders and other animal owners by teaching them the responsible use of homeopathy with their animals.  Feedback from previous students has been that they have seen reduced vet and med bills, reduced antibiotic use and their animals are generally healthier, can be more productive and less susceptible to disease in the first instance.

This highly interactive course consists of three full days of teaching (9am - 4.30pm), each held a minimum of two weeks apart in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. The 2 weeks between teaching not only provides time for information to be processed but also time for what has been learnt in the classroom to be used on the farm in real time.

Two different teachers on each day, a Registered Homeopath and a Registered Homeopathic Vet, ensures a broad depth of knowledge and teaching styles are used to enhance the course experience.  The courses are limited to 12 students per course, so students can get the most out of the teaching and group discussions.

There is support outside of teaching hours and ‘homework’ that help consolidate what has previously been taught. The course is developmental, with each day building upon the previous day's teaching, and is delivered through presentations, interactive group discussions, smaller group exercises, games, and quizzes.

Day 1: Introduction to homoeopathy, observation and what is important to the homoeopath, how remedies are made, how to administer remedies, where to buy remedies, The Principles of Homeopathy, and our 'Big 6' Remedies in detail.

Day 2: The animal's year and creating your own healthplan. Using the Big 6 remedies, to help animals at particular times within the year, avoiding the problems, revising the Principles and thinking about remedy selection, Dealing with acute problems, how to take and manage a case using the Repertory and Materia Medica (homeopathic reference materials, all supplied).

Day 3: Chronic cases and case studies, low grade problems, treating the “poor doer”, introducing more remedies.

You will be provided with all the material you need to complete the course (this is included in the cost of the course), including the fully comprehensive bespoke HAWL Manual, Farm Repertory, and Materia Media.

We also offer former students additional learning sessions covering various topics; homoeopathic and agricultural.   These, like Membership of the Members website, are exclusively for HAWL farmers.  Website membership has a large library of audio talks in addition to a helpline to a Registered Homoeopathic Vet (who is also a farmer).
