Homeopathy at Wellie Level: A Simple Repertory
A Simple Farm Repertory was written by Trevor Adams for the Farm Homeopathy Course, and as part of the 'HAWL To Do It' series and is based on his own experience as a homoeopathic vet in farm practice.
This is an easy to use, must-have for any stockperson whether they farm beef, dairy, sheep, pigs, goats, alpacas, chickens or even horses.
In this fabulous book, Adams takes you through the process of repertorising for farm animals and presents a splendid range of constitutional pictures. Our favourite is the extract for Calcarea Carbonica:
Calcarea carbonica
Large bodied. Heavy features - face and limbs. Large feet and lower joints. Lazy mover. Peaceful. Quiet to handle. Quietly dominant. Not easily startled.
Large appetite. Heavy milker. Worse for exertion <cold wet weather, < standing around. Better for lying, > warm and dry conditions.
Symptoms mucoid. Purulent discharges. Suffers arthritis (swollen hocks). Mastitis. Greenish diarrhoea.
What a fantstic picture - it would even suit a human materia medica!
